About
Meet Madison
I'm Madison, an end-of-life educator and death doula, and the person behind Here Until Then.
I believe talking about death doesn't have to be morbid, scary, or something we save for a crisis. Sometimes, planning ahead is one of the most caring things we can do for ourselves and the people we love.

My path to this work
My path to this work has taken a few turns. I have a bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Gerontology, along with a background in real estate, relocation, and transaction management. Years of helping families navigate major life transitions taught me how much people need someone who can slow things down, explain what comes next, ask the questions they didn't know they needed to ask, and help turn an overwhelming process into something manageable.
My interest in end-of-life care is also deeply personal. I've watched people I love navigate aging, dementia, caregiving, loss, and difficult decisions without always having the information or support they needed. Those experiences changed the way I think about what it means to prepare for the end of life.
Here Until Then was created from that place.
What I'm here to do
My goal is to help people have the conversations before there is a crisis, understand their options, make their wishes known, and feel a little less alone when the time comes. That might mean education and planning while you're healthy, support for a family navigating a terminal diagnosis, companionship during the dying process, or simply having someone there to help you make sense of all the things no one ever taught us how to talk about.
I'm not here to tell you how to die or what your end-of-life experience should look like. I'm here to help you understand your choices, prepare for what matters to you, and be there — here until then.
Ready to connect?
If something here resonates with you, I'd love to talk. There's no pressure and no wrong time to reach out.
